COVID-19 UPDATE

We are currently in the GREEN phase and with the current order that was signed on July 1, 2020, some of our guidelines have changed:

Customers are able to purchase wine for deck and outside consumption.

Outside deck tables are CDC compliant.

We are still practicing social distancing for the safety of our customers and staff.

Masks are REQUIRED to enter the sales area.

Tasting bar will be closed until further notice. Walk-in, take-out sales are encouraged. Shipping and curb side pick up is still available.

The Wine Run

September 14 - Registration begins at 10:30 AM // Racing starts at Noon

Join Glades Pike Winery in our fourth annual day dedicated to wine, running, walking, skipping … or however you want to move around for this fun-filled day of activities. Sign-up ends Wednesday, 11 September, 8PM.

The 5K

An untimed event that will take each participant on back road through the surrounding farm land. It’s an out and back format on a relatively flat course. Entry fee includes The Wine Run shirt, a wine tumbler filled with our signature sangria, access to The After Party, and, depending on how you end up, awards for the first three male and female participants to finish.

The Wine Mile

Also untimed, this event is a .5 mile out and back format with a wine tent at the turn around. (No couches in the wine tent though.) You’ll also get The Wine Run shirt, a wine tumbler with sangria and access to The After Party. Details and tickets are here.

The After Party

If even the motivation of wine in the middle and at the end of a walk isn’t enough to for you to actually walk, or if you’re just out of commission for physical activity at the moment and want to live vicariously through others, grab your foam finger and join in the fun. Details and tickets here.

The Whole Thing

Really want to prove you can do it all? Exercise for an afternoon. With wine.
Start with the 5K at Noon, and then jump into a heat of the wine mile before hitting up the music and food. Details and tickets here.

There is NO ON SITE PARKING for this event but shuttles will be provided throughout the day. Parking and shuttles are available at Laurel Hill State Park from 9AM to 5:30 PM. If you use Google Maps, you can use this address to take you directly to the parking area: 2387-2349 Laurel Hill Park Rd, Somerset, PA 15501. If not, use whatever you’d like to get yourself to one of the two entrances of the Park and we’ll have directional signs to show you from there.

$5 from every ticket goes to the Pennsylvania Wine Association’s PAC. The PA Wine PAC uses the funds to help ensure legislative support of the PA wine industry. For more info on PA WineLand – check this out.

Spring Thaw Wine & Food Festival

Saturday & Sunday April 16 & 17 // 11am - 5pm both days

Held here at Glades Pike, round 5 for the Southwest Passage Wine Trail’s spring festival, and this year, we’re adding even more to the event. The Trail has added a whole other day, and Hidden Valley Resort and Donegal Holiday Inn Express & Suites are offering lodging/transportation for anyone who wants to take a weekend in the mountains. (But you have to call either place to book, rather than book online.)

Sunday – $25

Must be 21 or older to attend.

Rooms at Hidden Valley for April 16 & 17 are:

$119 + tax for a standard room

$159 + tax for a king suite with fireplace

Price is for room and shuttle service to the event, with sign-up at the hotel. Tickets are separate.
